Smart 3-in-1 RFID Antenna

iSense Lumen gates can be used in several locations in the store. The antenna can be placed at goods receiving to track items arriving at the store. It can be placed between the stockroom and the sales floor to track items moving from stock to the sales floor. And it can be placed at customer entrances and exits to detect which items are leaving the store and alarm on unpaid items.

Each role requires different user feedback. iSense Lumen can adapt to its role because it is a 3-in-1 system, with flexible functionality and user feedback.

User Feedback - User Experience

The role of article surveillance gates at store entrances and exits is changing. From traditional EAS systems that alarm when a tag leaves the store, to smart article surveillance systems that identify items, detect their direction and alarm in a variety of situations, these systems are more advanced than ever.

To notify store staff of detected events and trigger the right staff response, the iSense Lumen antenna features an optimized user experience. It gives distinct alarms for RF, RFID and metal detection. Colored LEDs and a high-quality speaker inform staff and customers of the cause of the alarm.

Complete RFID

As RFID becomes more common, the iSense Lumen antenna comes with an RFID reader as standard. The hybrid antenna reads RFID and RF tags simultaneously, bringing great benefits to retailers adopting RFID.

Customer Counting

Like its predecessor, the iSense Lumen antenna comes with a customer counter. Because the counter can also detect unwanted movement at store exits or entrances, it offers more value than ever.

Design

To deliver an outstanding experience, the iSense Lumen team put a great deal of effort into designing an elegant antenna. The antenna is robustly built, with no compromises on design.

The design team decided to lower the alarm lights and point them upward rather than sideways. This improves alarm visibility so that store staff and security guards can clearly see the warning lights.
